When you are not in Muskoka, your property should not be out of sight. Prestige provides scheduled winter oversight and refers technical concerns to the appropriate specialist.
A Routine Season, Observed Routinely
A regular, structured visit schedule through the winter months means someone with a checklist is looking at your property, even when you are not. Prestige observes, documents, and coordinates. Licensed trades diagnose, repair, and certify.
Interior temperature is checked and documented at each visit. Heating system concerns are referred to a licensed HVAC technician for diagnosis and repair.
Generator and backup power status can be verified where accessible, with specialist servicing coordinated when required. We do not certify a generator as technically operational.
Water systems are observed for visible signs of concern. A plumber or water treatment specialist is coordinated for anything requiring technical diagnosis.
Snow contracts are sourced and verified in person against the schedule your vendor committed to.
Following significant storms, the property is observed for visible exterior conditions, and any concern is documented and communicated according to your estate management plan.
Visible exterior conditions around docks and boathouses are observed during scheduled visits where safely accessible. Structural or technical concerns are referred to the appropriate specialist.
What Prestige Does, and Does Not, Do
Prestige observes visible conditions, documents them in your Prestige Estate Book, and coordinates the right specialist when something needs attention. Diagnosis, repair, certification, and structural or engineering assessment are performed by the licensed trade or specialist, not by Prestige.
