Not a One Time File
The Estate Book is not compiled once and left alone. It is updated as service happens. When a generator is serviced, the visit is added along with the date, the provider, and what was done. The same is true across seasonal transitions: when docks are removed for winter or boats are launched in spring, each is logged the same way, so the estate's history continues even as the season, and the equipment itself, changes.
How It Is Used
The Estate Book is maintained by your representative. It is not automated software and it does not monitor your property in real time. It is reviewed ahead of every scheduled oversight visit, so nothing is checked from memory, updated afterward with what was observed, and referenced whenever a vendor is coordinated, so they arrive with the right history and context already in hand.
Accountability
Three roles keep an estate running well. You, the owner, set direction and priorities. Prestige coordinates the work, documents what happens, and follows up until it is done. Licensed specialists, electricians, marine technicians, HVAC providers, and other trades, diagnose problems, perform repairs, and issue certifications. The Estate Book is where all three roles meet: your preferences, our coordination, and the specialist's technical record, kept in one place.
When You Are Away
Many of the estates we manage stand empty for long stretches of the year. When the owner is not on site, the Estate Book is what allows a representative or a specialist to understand the property accurately, without waiting for an explanation from a distance. A new vendor can be briefed properly. A scheduled visit can be prepared for in advance. Continuity does not depend on reaching the owner at a particular moment, it depends on the record.
Privacy
Each Estate Book belongs to one property and one owner. It is not shared beyond your representative and the specific vendors involved in a given piece of work. What It Is Not
The Estate Book is a record, not a diagnosis. It documents what was observed and what was done, but it does not replace the judgment of a licensed engineer, electrician, or other specialist. When a system requires technical assessment, repair, or certification, that work is carried out and documented by the appropriate licensed trade, and the result is added to the Estate Book afterward. Prestige coordinates that process and keeps the record current. We do not diagnose, repair, or certify the systems themselves.
